I have visited the musuem many, many times since the early 70s and i have always felt very safe and at home there. The musuem recalls very fond childhood memories of mine. Both of my children have visited (2 and 8 yrs)and i have also visited with loved ones now sadly no longer with us.I have many photos of several generations of my family taken outside the musuem. The first thought that came into my head when the flood unfolded was of the Witches Museum (and the liver and onion in the Wellington !)Somehow you instinctively knew that despite all the horror that transpired that fateful day the musuem would survive whatever was thrown at it.My heartfelt thoughts are with you and you are to be commended and deeply admired for the work you have obviously put in ,not just for the influx of visitors for this year but for many years to come and many years that have already passed .Thankyou.
